There are plenty of direct flights from both TPE and SIN to DAD!
IME (i.e. been through the airport about 250 times,) it a relatively small manageable airport. Transfer from international to domestic is 150 meters and no need to walk through a parking lot. (If you're flying business class with no checked bags and you have the proper visa, you can easily make the connection in 15 minutes.) If you're Y with checked bags, I'd give yourself 90 minutes. You'll need to pick up your bags and then recheck them on the domestic flight.
If it were I,
1) I would not check bags.
2) I would look at the non-stop from SIN to DAD on SilkAir.
3) If transferring at SGN, I would fly the SGN>DAD segement on VN.
4) I would also look at transferring in BKK rather than SGN>
