Absolutely you should. But you should check it out first, assume guilt later. It seems taht even a false (known after the fact) reading on an x-ray is enough to treat this person in this way; and then after it was confirmed that it was a false alarm, to continue this non-sense. Why demand the guys name on a report indicating a false alarm???
Now, if there were high numbers of guns being intercepted on a daily basis, then I could accept assuming everybody is guilty; but if there is a high number of false alarms, then *continue to dilligently search everybody* but treat them with some respect (the respect that innocent law abiding people deserve).
