It's a simple calculation: is being able to guarantee a daytime flight worth $180 to you?

Keep in mind that free SDC Is not a published *G benefit. If you end up needing to call, because G class isn't available, you may be charged the regular $75 fee.

I agree with your concern that G might not be available on the day that you want to travel, especially because you need G availability all the way from XXX to YYZ. You can't rely on the UA automatic leveling -- which isn't really reliable these days anyway.
