I've lost faith in the mobile BP, and will now stick 100% to printed ones.... simply because I've seen many cases where travelers flash a mobile BP at the gate, only to be told by the agent that a paper BP is needed, and to step aside. Precious minutes are then wasted, while the agent rushes off to print the BP.
There doesn't seem to be any consistency in where/how this happens - I've seen it 4-5x in HKG, SFO, and other regional airports, on both regional and long-haul, and on both CX and KA metal.
Anyone have ideas as to why mobile BPs are being rejected at the gate, in favor of paper ones?
