It sounds like there was no 'cost' or inconvenience to you in that you were able to use your device throughout the flight. Call me old-fashioned by that would be my decision point; no cost and no inconvenience equals no need to complain or request recompense.
I can understand the no cost no inconvenience argument. However when the USB charging point wasn't working I ended up disembarking with my phone on 18% not ideal for a day in London!
