Some impressions of my own while I'm still here

This might only be my room, but the temperature controls in the shower vary from warm to so hot you will actually blister. And sometimes the temp changed while I washed my hair which was not pleasant.

Also, I'm on the second floor which is another one of the fun split levels that are everywhere in England. There seems to be a little ramp for assistance options but I'm not sure how viable it is.

Also to note, the elevator is in a sort of shaft with the stairs winding around it with additional doors to push/pull in order to enter the corridor of each floor. There isn't the most space for maneuvering large amounts of luggage there. I don't imagine this being the most friendly hotel for accessibility options. There are tiny bits of stairs everywhere.

I recall staying here years ago, pre-Aubaine perhaps? Aubaine has a spot in Selfridges btw. And yes, the pain au chocolat is pretty great. They also provide room service. Best to just ask for what's available for desserts rather than going by the menu. I ended up with a baked "bread pudding" chocolate croissant with ice cream instead of any of the listed items.
