I possessed the Ambassador card before this promo and have been given upgrades at every international IC hotel location no matter where I stayed. The only place that I even had to request it was when staying in Paris at their 2 IC properties there. In addition, I stayed at two of their Beachcomber hotels in Tahiti and Moorea and the upgrade was immediately given to me (pre-assigned) at checkin to their over water bungalows which are the top rooms available.

In addition, I have stayed at Crown Plaza locations and was give upgrades and priority checkin, late checkout and all of the other perks associated with the IC card.
