I tried tapping the Revolut card at 7-Eleven this morning and after entering PIN and choosing "No" for cashback (meaning it chose the common AID), it declined. Same thing when I tried inserting. Tapping one of my Chase cards worked fine, though.
Anyway, Revolut worked fine in MSD mode ~30mins later with the vending machine at work, so it wasn't anything related to the card itself. The two declines still haven't appeared in the app, either, which makes me think 7-Eleven possibly offline declined instead of going out for approval.
(BTW, I hope UNFCU credit cards do end up being PIN preferring on contactless. That would make checking online PIN support a whole lot easier when one doesn't have to take debit processing into account.)
I tried my Visa debit card in Google Pay ay 7-Eleven today with the same issue it declined so they broke that. The Shake Shack that I went to has the square readers on the kiosks and everything is enabled and I even saw someone using Apple Pay there!
Ikea just got ctls three weeks ago and it uses the us debit AID allows pin bypass but oddly only asked for pin at the main registers and not at the food area. They still use the Android Pay logo on the pinpad oddly.
