I guess it is good that you posted in case some are confused, but I expect the vast majority - maybe 90% or more?? really do not care. I have signed up three family members for one thing, the miles. We will attempt to make use of the free night but doubt it since we are used to spending well under $100 for hotel rooms most of the time.

It is a shame that another thread has to be started because the original is full of people all excited that they signed up, or asking the same question over and over. Yes, I know some want to share their excitement, but in the end they have made it difficult for anyone to find the answer due to the LARGE number of postings.
