I'm planning to use my cat1-4 7-night certificate for leisure in San Juan in December. It'll be my first time down there, so I'd prefer more activities/sightseeing, instead of spending too much time in hotel resorts. Given the category restriction, only options turn to be Sheraton Old San Juan and the AC hotel. Reading through the hotel property threads and some reviews, AC is apparently much newer but no breakfast, location is a bit far from Old San Juan, while Sheraton looks outdated. My main concern is, how difficult it is to get around and to Old town if staying at AC? Would AC Hotel overall be a no-brainer choice considering that these are my only options? Thanks!
