Would call Citibank to inquire but Citibank has such varied customer service and often the reps are misinformed that actual first hand experience is actually more valuable to me.
Thanks for the assistance in advance.

It may too early to know. The DoubleCash has been a TYP card for only about a week or so thus far. We're still trying to figure out everything about its TYP aspects, so I doubt anyone intending to keep TYP points alive has tried PCing to it yet or necessarily will soon. You may have to be the first, if you're that eager to do it soon.
But why not at least call them (and HUCA a few times)? If they
all say that your points will expire, then will you believe them or disbelieve them? You seem to be assuming that they will say they wouldn't expire when they would, but they'll all say they do expire?
Besides, if you read this thread's recent posts:
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/citi...derations.html
you'd see that people who have converted to Rewards+ or Preferred recently are being told online that their points are about to expire, when they shouldn't. So with Citi making mistakes
online about expiration, where are you going to get reliable datapoints quickly as to what really happens?
