Long story short, my cousins in Seattle ask me to buy some fresh durian fruits when I visit them next month. I can only assume you were planning on vacuum packing it, hopefully with several layers, and placing it inside of your checked bag, right? Even if you take this precaution, anything else in the bag might end up smelling like durian, of course. Have you considered outsourcing this task to Fedex? Or just buying durian in Seattle as several others have suggested?
