Just fyi...

I did travel MUC LH YYZ AC CVG three weeks ago and the flight MUC-YYZ was delayed by 1 1/2 hrs. Missed my connection to CVG and because that was the last flight of the day I got stuck overnight in Toronto. LH did a really lousy job putting me in a hotel 15 km away from YYZ with no food or even a simple bottle of water and I had to pay for the transfer back to YYZ the next morning. I took them 1 1/2 hrs to sort out the hotel and I spent another 1 1/2 hrs in line in immigration. Would that be the same immigration line if we transfer to a YYZ-YHZ flight or is there a separate transfer immigration?
