I was thinking the same thing. On another forum someone else mentioned if you called Am Ex they will give you the credit for Nexus but you may have to play the HUCA game.
I've never understood why GE is twice the price as Nexus anyway since you have to go through the same interview and background check for Nexus that you do for GE. It can't be costing the US government anymore to process a GE applicant than a Nexus applicant.
