SAN-LAS (via LAX) - Sunday: booked three days out: 10,000 miles
LAS-SAN (via SFO) - Tuesday: booked five days out: 10,000 miles
LAS-SAN (via SFO) - Sunday: booked 30 days out: 32,500 miles
LAS-SAN (via LAX) - Sunday: same date as flight above and booked 30 days out: 25,000 miles
SAN-LAS (via LAX) - Thursday: booked 25 days out 15,000 miles
LAS-SAN (via LAX) - Sunday: booked 30 days out: 17,000 miles
All October 2019 flights.
The 32.5k/25k flights hurt and am watching to see if the miles decrease for award travel. However, for the others all flight costs started above $178 so consider the miles good value compared to the cost of a ticket.
Those are just the standard vs saver awards, not really true dynamic pricing.
