Does anyone know if you convert from a Citibank ThankYou Preferred or Rewards + card to the double cash card if existing ThankYou points remain in the double cash thank you account and don't expire? I know if I was to covert from one ThankYou earning card to another that the existing points earned continue to exist and never expire, however curious if this is the case with the double cash since it technically earns cash back and has a supplementary thank you account. Would call Citibank to inquire but Citibank has such varied customer service and often the reps are misinformed that actual first hand experience is actually more valuable to me.
