Hi -- we're using our trip here as a mini vacation from the mid-western winter come january.

We'll have a 3 year old with us, any advice for traveling around the island? do we need to bring a car seat with us? should we just rent a car & car seat and park it at the resort to make life easier if we want to go around the island?

I think generally we'll be hanging out at the resort...but I thought it would be nice to visit the turtle center and perhaps check out other nearby restaurants or activities.

anyone have any other recommendations?
