I say crash the private party - you paid for your stay. the pool is open - as in it is safe to accept guests - if they dont like it they can comp your stay, or at least that night. that might sound like overkill to some, but I actually make many of my stay decisions based upon amenities like pools - case in point my stay in orlando just this weekend. close the pool to monetize it without giving me advance notice and i might as well be at the hyatt down the road.
