After a bus ride -- gender segregated -- to the plane, we boarded back to front:

Happy to report, unlike in the US, boarding did not happen needlessly early. Not three minutes after sitting down, we were taxing to the runway. No announcements of any kind were made -- not even a safety briefing!

We soon took off -- the sprawl of Dhaka was -- sort of -- visible through the (scratched) window:
