I don't understand why people are all out of sorts about green signs. It's very easy for a gate agent to tell someone "head that way to the green signs". It makes perfect sense to have these facilities in a strongly contrasting color.
Can't imagine anyone arguing against the effectiveness (although this is the internet) but they do look hideous against the Delta brand.
People have been arguing form vs function for years. So I can understand those "out of sorts" people.
