I'll just add this here...my quick & short review that I had posted in the General Alila thread...

"Reporting back after my stay in the Jakarta SCBD Alila - same as most of the others here have posted. No suite upgrade, despite fact that hotel seemed fairly low occupancy - there were only 2 tables being used at breakfast at 10:00 am on Sat morning!

My upgrade was to a "corner city view" room. I didn't make a fuss, or check if suites were being sold (I am sure they were). No offer of drinks for the evening - they reported that they would have a club lounge opening soon (there was even a spot on the elevator sign already listed on one of the floors for "Club Lounge")

Breakfast was nice - we could choice any items we wanted from the menu card + the buffet items. Asked about late checkout but we didn't need it as were flying to S'pore at 1:00 pm."
