DH and I are looking to travel NYC-TPE next July. I will be in paid business class and we would like to get him the same, on the same flights. I won’t be ready to book until February/March, but am thinking it would be good to lock something up for him now, as there was some availability out of JFK for our dates after the recent CX schedule changes. Flight timings aren’t ideal, but I’m thinking it might be better to have something and then change flights later (free, yes?) if a better schedule becomes available and I’ll get my ticket to match his. Do you see any problems with this strategy? TIA.
