When I was a Silver I always used to want to get to boarding early do I could get onboard and get my bag above me. I wouldn’t say I got stressed about it but didn’t want to turn up and boarding had already started. Now I’m a lowly blue I generally turn up as late as possible, it’s much more relaxing and as I always travel with a rucksack rather than a wheelie worst case scenario I have it in front of me.
It’s been one of the very few benefits of losing status. Of course I could have done that before when I was silver but I guess I sort of felt entitled to board early due to my status and wanted to have the benefit. Those days at long gone now though!
