In Asia, sometimes you are treated better if you are not Asian, or do not look Asian. This carries to the airline industry; although mostly for business (financial) reasons.

On the other side of the coin, I have seen quite a bit of non-civil behavior from Asian pax, such as talking across the cabin, treating FAs as servant-like because they can afford business/first cabin.

Both are equally disgusting behaviors
