I don't think that you're being a snowflake or that it is all unreasonable to expect good service no matter one's age, race, gender, etc. I'm sorry that you have experienced this and it is sad that people's biases and prejudices still exist in 2019. Maybe one day we as a society will treat others as we wish to be treated.
