SQ is usually cheaper than Air NZ for a superior daytime premium experience. But as someone used to western beds, their beds are very uncomfortable for me - I'll take the less than private but soft Air NZ bed any day! 😜 I genuinely found the SQ bed in both first and biz to be uncomfortable and hard.

But their nighttime flights leave at superior times so there is that too...
