Gold definitely helps, as well as any clout your company would have if you are booking via corporate channels.

Personally with such a long lead time I would expect you to clear, I normally clear if I'm down to the final week, and November is quite some time off, accepting you're just off a holiday period straddling India and the USA. I'd give you a 90% plus chance unless there are other factors involved. Obviously you need your TA to come up with a Plan B involving another gateway or airline, just in case.
