Actually doing the opposite - need to be in SAN, but flying to LAX and connecting a bit cheaper (and more TPs!). Decided to do that for what should be a better CW experience on the 380 upper deck window than a 777-200 (with no F to upgrade to). Am I being stupid by not flying direct?
