Not referring to an upgrade.

I have outbound CW seat on 10th Nov and CW seat on 16th Nov (Sat) for return but ideally want to fly back on Friday 15th. On MMB I'm shown as wait listed for the Friday flight in CW.

Oddly, MMB and app says I'm confirmed for outbound but no seat assigned. Try to select a seat and they are all greyed out, so I can't. Can select seat for the Saturday return but not the wait listed one (which does make sense). However this might be explained by the ticket having not yet been issued.
