Data point. I had to go in a 'reapply' for national executive after I dropped down to just emerald through ultimate rewards. Did this last month. My national profile was updated the next day. If this doesn't work. National does match status with others, not the best work around but you could get avis preferred then email National to match status.
I've tried to reactivate many times. What's weird is if I call National they say I have exec, but it doesn't show on the website and I don't get the exec perks. For instance, I still need 7 rentals before I get the freebie.
How do you status match?
