While I am not one to espouse government control of everything, I am to the point where I would like to see mandated total price disclosure on the original search page.
well..it's a 7-day e-cert that was a points redemption many many months ago..trip is coming up...

So not changing now...maybe it's at all Marriotts now? Edit...just checked a Towneplace I stayed at earlier this year in Gallup, NM - free parking - as it was when I was there.

The other person who says corps can get away with extra fees and only a miniscule %. will change...well...maybe he's thinking of Spirit Airlines or unbundling of airfares...or big cities, or Las Vegas (Which I've shied away from due to resort fees, in part -only paid it once - at Luxor if I recall in 2014...no plans ever again to).....but pay parking at a hotel only accessible by car? In a place with plenty of wide open space (Short of not-realistically walking) Madness...

Easy...shift business to Hilton, IHG, or smaller chains...or boutiques.....now if I see parking fees at a Holiday Inn in Any small town, Anywhere...

Undefensible...and really, I won't stand for it...if I have to suck it up this 1 time, fine....maybe next time I post...will be a photo of my canceled and cut-up Amex Marriott card (ooohh limited edition artwork) / and a screenshot of a closed account. The annual night (For $100 a/f) isn't worth it to me for a company that charges like this...
