Indeed if KE think they can revenue sell those F seats, or overbook J and upgrade the pax, they are not going to release F awards. However they do tend release more so it's worth keeping an eye out!
I've been checking continuously for an economy sale ticket - like paid with cash - and there isn't ONE offered in Q class (70% mileage earning) for this route (in both directions) for MARCH 2020. That's CRAZY. They actually offer "discounted sale price" through their app for ICN-JFK, IAD, and more - but ATL hasn't been on their for months. I guess as odd a route as it may seem just by looking at it (Who flies just ATL to Seoul? very few) - all those connections result in this.
