People in this thread seem to be automatically assuming that IHG made the decision to quit this location.
I would argue, the hotels decided themselves to leave the IHG program.
Not sure how you reach that conclusion most of us are assuming that the owners have decided to reflag and I guess there must be a 12 month break clause in the Franchise agreement. What is harder to understand is why they think that this reflagging changes any of the fundamentals for the better.
