The IPTE GF seat is still far better than most current J products out there. I was happy paying J (+SWU) or Z (+copay) or even the occasional A fare to sit in GF, but I'd never pay even Z to sit in the IPTE 2-4-2. The problem now is that Polaris is just an average product and there's nothing to upgrade to.

BA might be the definition of the LCC-ification of a legacy carrier, so that UA is even comparable is pretty sad to begin with.
The other thing about BA F is that, even if it is fairly referred to by many as a 'premium business' product, it's often priced like one too. And while the soft product has gone downhill, they're not even comparable to the Polaris cuts (which have occurred in a much shorter timeframe no less).
