AS was gracious for me. The primary was returning home without the companion who wasn't physically fit to fly commercial. I called AS to advise the companion wouldn't be flying and to book myself on the same flight. AS simply changed the companions name on the PNR to mine and made me the primary. My benefits kicked in and I didn't have to purchase an extra ticket for myself. Awesome service.
