I see this all the time, beyond annoyance of flying ignorance or DYKWIA selfish behavior whats the concern? Unless emergency exit, for me personally not an issue, beyond confirmation FA sometimes aren't consistent, which then begets the more worrisome question what else do they let slide?
Yeah I know it's the rules, but FAA has little credibility these days, just another bumbling government agency.
