Not convenient to anything from the tourist's perspective, particularly the BTS or MRT.
SGS is attached by skybridge to the BTS, and MRT station is across the street. Athenee is a relatively short walk to BTS. Traffic in Bangkok is terrible, so access to public transit is very important. Especially since the weather tends to be either very hot or pouring rain.
