Called AirNZ twice last week to check the number of Business R class seats but the reply is they no longer provide this information to Elite members and the upgrade will not to be confirmed immediately for Elite. A specialist upgrade team will do the upgrade within 48 hours.
So I used online upgrade to upgrade myself(Elite) from PE to BP, nothing happened within 48 hrs.
My question is my trip has 2 adults and 2 children(under 12). After I withdraw my initial upgrade the I use airpoints to upgrade all 4 from PE to BP, will the AirNZ specialist team confirm my seat 7 days before the trip and do the other three traveler at the airport/gate? or they will only confirm the whole group at the airport regardless my Elite status?
