No the older system had 2 fixed prices - both lower than the award prices we are seeing in the new system. Sure, but if the cash price dropped under the old system, the mileage price didn't budge.

The prices aren't tracking that closely in all cases, so I hope that was just a coincidence, but I suspect it's not that far off from where UA would like people to redeem.
