The supervisor I spoke with today said that the eligible flight would also be granted as it was booked and paid for and then changed thru no fault of my own. There are apparently notes on my account which say this. I do tend to wonder if they will screw this up though. My faith in BA and their CS is about as low as it can get.
I agree that you are entitled to it due to the enforced change of airline. I was merely pointing out that you probably won't get it as part of a standard ORC claim. Sounds like it's in hand though so well done.
