I'm taking my in-laws on a trip with us next year. I have two options: (1) book them as guests of honor or (2) book both rooms under my name (I'm a Globalist, they are not).
There seems to be a potential advantage of booking the rooms under my name because, in theory, I could use a suite upgrade for both rooms (not available with GoH). Potential downside is they could be denied free breakfast under the T&C.

Properties vary on their policy on extending Globalist benefits to additional rooms on the reservation that the globalist is not occupying. The most common (80%+) I've seen is that they'll extend to two additional (3 total) rooms as courtesy. Call the property's front desk or VIP manager and just ask them. They'll know.
Also, I've known several globalists using multiple suite upgrades at the same time. This isn't anything "sneaky" or wrong.
If they're not points people, I always prefer having it all in my name, as the points on incidentals get dumped into my account.
