Bergamo (BGY)

Passed through Bergamo and was surprised to see that BA already had a lounge arrangement in place. I expect it is the only lounge. After security you are led/forced upstairs to the duty free area and the lounge is on the right at the start of those popular... winding paths through the duty free shops.

Lounge was nothing fantastic, but better than some of its Italian competition. Fridges with soft drinks, wine and beer. Food includes some sandwiches and sweet and savoury snacks. There is wifi accessed with a password received at reception. No invitation is needed, just evidence of status on BP or a CE boarding pass.

Immigration is a fair walk after the lounge and back down to the floor below through another route. The airport is undergoing re-development works to extend the terminal and although jetbridges are available, none appear to being used.
