If you don't have access to first class lounges, I would then skip The Wing, as it J side is in my opinion not that impressive. Haven't yet tried it, but based on some reviews and photos, the new CX J lounge, The Deck would be probably a good alternative.
The QF lounge is J/F, so you can visit it with a OWS card.
The Bridge, while "only" a J lounge is a very good one in my opinion and so is The Pier J lounge. Well worth a visit. The Pier J is in some aspect I think even better than the F one. In particular I love the tea house they have in The Pier J.
Reading these useful HKG lounge-hopping itineraries, I thought to do some myself.
So I first took on the BRIDGE J- as it was the closest and they hadnt announced my gate yet. The views were great - although would have been better if the windows were washed in the past, say, 3 years... the whole place looked very tired. Some chairs so dirty and worn that it made my skin crawl. Bathrooms also not-so-clean. The food was ok but the desserts were surprisingly deadly. So... the Bridge - 1.5 points. One for desserts and half for the semi-visible views.
Then the PIER J. Sooo much nicer. Also good views with CLEAN windows (yes, it can be done) and many different seating options. Much nicer atmosphere, food also pretty good. Noodle bar, tea house etc are nice touches. Points for everything that the Bridge did not get.
On my way back I thought i would check out the DECK J, as it was right by my AY gate 8. A bit similar to the Pier - but smaller. The food selection not so big as at the Pier but still good. They also have a noodle bar. The view is towards the water, which is also a nice touch.
So the Pier J is my definite winner of the three.. Highly recommended. But the Deck is close behind.
