I agree, but at the same time it is temporarily good news for regular guests of this hotel. As an IC, they do not need to rush into a renovation. It is still in great shape. At least the rooms I've always been given are excellent. And it is far, far better than the Grand Stamford. Maybe they will buy another property to make into the HK Regent.
