It seems to be official: the hotel will not be closed for renovations in 2020. The earliest will be in 2021. This is the third time they move the date, and it seems is very skeptical that they will do a major renovation anytime in the next few years.
Wow. That’s pretty disappointing for both the hotel itself and the Regent brand for which this is expected to serve as the flagship.
