I got violently ill (food poisoning I believe) on a NW flight from MSP-DTW. It was humiliating and TOTALLY out of my control. I only felt a little punky when I boarded (it was that old LATE LATE LATE flight that used to arrive at DTW after 2am). I thought I was just tired from a full day. By the time the plane rotated, it was another story. The stomach can hold greater volumes than the airsick bag unfortunately. From that day forward, I ALWAYS check to make sure there is an airsick bag. I walked to the Westin....I couldn't even think of driving home and had one of the most-hellish nights of my life there.
