Hopefully your room won't have a view of the ongoing construction at Hudson Yards (which only adds to the cacophony of building styles). I was in the gym at the hotel last week and they did a decent job with some of the finishes but there didn't seem to be any traffic in or out of the hotel when I was walking by.
