They were able to pull me in on a 125-star offer for the tea, pumpkin spice latte and frappuccino over the 3 day weekend, but that didn't require a purchase every day. The 4- or 5-consecutive-dayer ones do seem a bit ridiculous, and I don't usually even opt in.

The 50-star brewed coffee award is best for my purposes (a "space renter" who isn't into the product that much and just nurses it while there).

The real concern is the comfy reading chairs being replaced. They did that to 2 of them at a nearby location and I stopped going there. The big one in question is an older, larger, very well-established location I usually go to that has an unusually high 12 of them that are all getting very long in the tooth. It's a dilemma because the chairs are both a favorite with paying customers and something that attracts some economically marginalized non-paying ones.
