I’ve had this on a delayed flight to LHR. I put the photo on twitter and the captains mum ended up seeing it and was quite proud. I’ve also had a pilot going round the lounge at LGW talking to people on a delayed flight explaining the delay. I think it buys a lot of goodwill and I know there’s a couple of captains that do this routinely but in the pilots strikes it’s going to warm people a little bit hopefully.
