Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, all good.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked Club Deluxe Pool View, got real suite (Size of around 2 regular rooms) on 7th floor (the room type you usually got several years back when you booked the cheapest, now they only upgrade to a regular club room from there and seem to stick to the 2 level policy).

How are the rooms?
Nice. Big living room with seating area, workdesk, small toilet off the entrance hallway.
Bedroom, storage area, bathroom with huge bathtub, toilet with Toto seat, separate shower.

How is the exec. lounge?
Too small for the number of club guest. It was overcrowded and they turned people away at happy hour (never seen it this crowded before).
Food was ok, almost a bit subpar compared to other chinese ICs. They kept bringing things out constantly, but the guest were a bit like vultures. Breakfast early in the morning was less crowded. Selection was ok, but you had to ask for the menu with eggs and soups. English skills of staff have improved dramatically.

Did you receive a welcome gift?
As usual: a tin with cookies, two truffles, 2 small bottles of water, fruits.

How was the minibar?
Below average. Cap for one day was 600 Yuan.

What was good and what was bad?

-Good
- Spacious room
- Location (easy to reach by subway from the SZX airport or from Hong Kong by KCR)
- fast internet, not behind the chinese firewall

-Bad
- Agraria amenities
- Lounge was overcrowded
- Food offerings for happy hour
- No choice between welcome points and drink voucher, only voucher

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
With the RA upgrade etc it is good.
